Whatever your skill level, age, or reason for playing golf, I am here to assist you in increasing your enjoyment of the game and to improve your golf skills. My golf experience is extensive and started very early in life — having grown up traveling on the LPGA Tour with my mother, eight-time LPGA winner, Kathy Cornelius, and my father, PGA Life Member, Bill Cornelius. I began playing tournament golf at age 7 and would continue on to achieve an outstanding record as a junior golfer, which includes winning the USGA Girls’ Junior Amateur at the age of 14. My mother and I still hold the record as the only mother-daughter duo ever to have won USGA Championships — she is the 1956 US Women’s Open Champion.
Fast forwarding to today, I enjoy my daily role as an LPGA Class ‘A’ Teaching Professional at Club West GC in Phoenix, Arizona. In addition to helping golfers of all ages and skill levels improve their games, I am honored to serve the LPGA as a member of the Global Education Team. This role consists of evaluating teaching professionals as they move toward earning Class ‘A’ status within the organization. In the past, I’ve also served the LPGA as a Major Evaluation Site Host and was the Director of the LPGA/USGA Girls’ Golf Future Stars Program of Phoenix.
